Like all servants of Khorne, Arnell relishes death, but none of the Blood God's servants take such pleasure in the utter devastation he brings to his enemies. However, Arnell is no mere Khornate Berserker or mindless warrior, for he has transcended death itself and the mortal realm, for he is now one of the fabled Daemon Princes of Chaos.

A being of supreme might and dangerous disposition, Arnell stands full fourteen feet tall, a raging bull of pure muscle and sinew that is fully capable of ripping apart a battle tank. Should his daemonic essence be killed in the mortal realm, his darkened soul will return to the realm of the daemon and reform, slowly over time. In this way, Arnell can never truely be killed, only temporarily halted in his rampages throughout the sectors surrounding the Eye of Terror.

Arnell takes a note of personal pride in being at the fore-front of each successful assault, instilling fear in his enemies and slaying those who dare to get close. However, even his might in combat is nothing to the tactical and strategic genius that Arnell has displayed countless times across the galaxy.

Acronris, Herald of Death

Few amongst Arnell's number have had such a drastic effect upon the Imperium then the one by the name of Acronis, the Herald of Death.

Believed to be from the World Weaters Legion of Space Marines, it was Acronris that led the brutal Yularn Uprising. Hundreds of thousands of Imperial citizens were killed in a single day when open rioting spread through the hive-cities. Only when the Planetary Defence Force was mobilised that the massacre took a turn for the worse. Agents working for Acronis had infiltrated the high command of the PDF, slowly turning them to the worship of Chaos through subtle manipulation.

As the hives of Yularn burned in fires of their own making, it was then that Arnell's forces attacked in force. Millions were put to death from combined drop pod assaults and orbital bombardments.

Unique Wargear:

Blood Fang: The daemonic weapon known simply as Blood Fang is imbued with the bloody violence of Khorne himself, having been steeped in the flowing river of blood at the feet of Lord Khorne himself.

Blood Fang counts as a Khornate Daemon Weapon which also grants him a +1 to his Strength (bonus already included in his profile).

Special Rules:

The Blood Wind: Lord Arnell is the epitome of the Khornate follower and is at the head of a large Khornate army, the vast bulk of which are Khorne Berserkers.

If Arnell is included in the army, the army must also include at least one unit of Khorne Berserkers. This unit must be at least 8 models in strength.

The River of Blood

The continents of Iunsan are split by large, gradually flowing rivers which many whisper are filled with the blood of the fallen that have died at Arnell's hands.

However, the river also serves a more sinister purpose, as it is the only source from which to drink, and over the centuries, many an Imperial Scholar have hypothesised that it serves as Arnell's secret base of power, as those who drink from it will quick develop a taste for blood.
