Champion Caltox

Caltox origins stretch back to the now decimated Chapter of Astartes known as the Death Hands. During their last battle which would later become known as the Attack on Yunor (371.M37) Lord Arnell lead the last attack.

Surrounded by Khorne Berserkers and in an indefensible position, the last of the Death Hands prepared to sell their lives for as high a price as possible. However, it was not to be. Brother Sergeant Caltox had betrayed his brothers and in a fit of rage, he singlehandedly slaughtered his battle brothers.

When Arnell's minions made the last push, they only found Caltox alone and covered in the blood of his brothers. Seeing the warrior for what he was, Arnell offered the young champion a place within his army, giving him a small war band of his own to lead and since that day, Caltox has pledged his life to Arnell and Khorne.

Unique Wargear:

Foebane: Caltox rides a large and powerful Juggernaut of Khorne.

Foebane counts as a Juggernaut of Khorne (bonuses included above) and also grants him and his squad the Fleet special rule.

However, Khorne Berserkers aren't noted for their agility, and as such must half the result when rolling for Fleet (rounding factions up).

Special Rules:

Khornate Disciples: Caltox is a capable leader and leads by example.

To represent this, Caltox may be accompanied by a unit of Khorne Berserkers or by Chaos Terminators.

If he leads a squad of Khorne Berserkers, then the following restrictions apply: the squad may not include a Skull Champion and the unit must number eight or more models.

If he leads a squad of Chaos Terminators, then the following restrictions apply: the squad must have an Icon of Khorne and must taken furious charge (at a cost of an additional 3 points per model).

Both Caltox and the unit he leads count as a single unit for the purposes of deployment, the Force Organisation Chart and unit coherency.
