Tech Adept

There are those who will willingly pledge themselves to the Four Winds, whilst a greater many of these are warriors, there are few that have trained on Mars, and these are highly valued for their skills at attending to the vast fleets of armoured vehicles the Four Winds have at their disposal.

Although rare amongst the many thousands, these individuals have been the cause of many wars within the Eye of Terror, with Arnell himself waging wars on over a hundred daemon worlds just to preserve his small army of technologically skilled artisans.

However, there are many more who know the arts of technology, and these are often pressed into service at the point of a gun, creating weapons for the armies of the Four Winds. These individuals are usually chainganged into service, knowing that to not toil would result in a cruel, painful and drawn out death.

Unique Wargear:

Servo-arm: These augmetic arms are grafted to the armour of the Tech Adept and are fitted with a selection of tools to aid the Adept in their work from compact drills to data-probes to welding torches.

Servo-arms grant the Tech Adept a bonus attack in the Assault Phase and are treated as a Power fist in all regards, rolled for seperately from the other attacks the Tech Adept may get.

Special Rules:

Scion of Mars: Tech Adepts are highly valued for their secret knowledge and lore of the machine. It is due to this knowledge that they can affect battlefield repairs.

If a Tech Adept is inside a Rhino when it attempts to repair itself, you may +2 to the roll (therefore you will repair it on a roll of a 4+ instead of the usual '6').

In addition, if a Tech Adept begins the turn in base to base contact with a friendly Dreadnought, Predator, Vindicator, Land Raider or Defiler, you may attempt to repair the vehicle. The Tech Adep tmust remain stationary during the turn and may not fire any weapons he may have. When attempting a repair, roll a D6 at the beginning of the Shooting Phase. On a roll of a '6', one 'Weapon Destroyed' result (chosen by the Chaos player) or one 'Immobilsed' result is repaired.
