The Battle Tracker!

Having worked for the past month or so on the Battle Tracker, I'm finally glad its out in the public now!

I have more plans for it for the future of course, but the basic core is there for you guys to use, but only for those who register.

On the subject of registration, it has a new of fringe benefits, like site themes as well as making the process of leaving comments easier (the CAPTCHA's are disabled if your logged in).

Now then, back to the Tracker. As I say, I've worked hard on it and if your interested in seeing how your doing on the battlefield, get yourself an account here and get using the Tracker, I know I will!

Codex: Four Winds of Chaos is Unleashed!

After such a long wait, it has finally arrived! The complete Codex: Four Winds of Chaos is now here, this very site!

This 111 page codex is available for free for download here, so free free to check it out when you have time.

The codex features an army list that is designed to be used in confunction with the Chaos codex produced by Games Workshop, and features additional rules that are to be used to represent the Four Winds of Chaos.

It also features:

Comprehensive background material on each of the Four Lords
Additional Wargear
A selection of Special Characters for use in and against Four Winds armies.
Additional units that are unique to the Four Winds, including Creeper cults, Iunsan pattern land raiders, Slaaneshi Outriders and many more.

New content, features, site, improvements

A New Phase

Time for a new phase in for Grim Darkness.net, we are rapidly reaching a state where I can concentrate on writing content, as well as finally finishing Codex: Four Winds of Chaos, not to mention all the other 40k side projects I have going in on the background.

More news on Codex: Four Winds of Chaos to come later (so watch this space!), but suffice to say it is around 90-95% done (in actual fact, we have a few pages already up for you to browse through in our Downloads section.

Right, now onto the actual "newsy" bit of the Blog. I have been hard at work developing this site ready for the next phase, that is the "link getting campaign" which is just about to kick off. These numerous little improvements include:

A Site FAQ has been added
Revamped Link Exchange Form and Link system
Overhauled the A to Z, so you can now search it :-)
All the quotes you see at the top right hand corner have found a home here, on our Site Quotes page.
A few changes to the army section pages.
Added a Webmaster's To Paint list, which should be updated as and when I get some painting done. Just don't expect super fast updates on that one.

As you can see, these changes mainly focus on the new section which was added recently, that is Extras section. I have some grand plans for that section, as well as for the rest of them, but until then, I'm remaining tight lipped and no amount of alcohol will change that ;-).
