The quest for the perfection of his viral creation has made Lord Varro Damius both a loathed and hunted enemy of the Imperium.

No-one hunts Damius more actively and with more determination then the Fists of Flame, for it was Damius that nearly decimated the Chapter and to them, Damius represents an icon of disloyalty and a potent symbol of what can happen to man when he forgets his oath to the Emperor of Mankind.

When Damius’ work was completed, he ascended to daemonhood and the virus he had worked so long to perfect was melded with him, the two becoming inseparable and now Damius has become the only source for the Rictuus plague.

Damius himself is a tall, brooding individual who appears as a gaunt, pale skinned warrior fully ten feet tall and covered in vile pockmarked flesh which constantly runs with puss and smile.

Special Rules

5+ Invulnerable save, Eternal Warrior, Fearless, Feel no Pain, Independent Character, Mark of Nurgle (bonus included above).

The Nirgion: Damius carries a wickedly sharp scythe which constantly drips with the most virulent plagues known to Man.

The Nirgion counts as a Nurgle Daemon, Plaguebringer.

In addition, Damius ignores any To Hit rolls of a ‘1’ and it merely counts as a miss instead.

The Plague Wind: Lord Damius is a dedicated follower of Nurgle’s vile ideals and can call upon an army of Nurgle Plague Marines.

If Damius is included in the army, the army must include one unit of Plague Marines bought at the normal cost. This unit must be at least ten models in strength.

Warrior of Contagion: Damius is famed for his application of diseases and plagues.

When he successfully casts Nurgle’s Rot, it’s range is doubled. Therefore it will effect all models within 12”.
