Slaaneshi Outriders

Whereas other Slaaneshi worshippers are driven to excesses of discordant experiences such as those offered by battle, the Slaaneshi Outriders constantly seek ever more intense thrills by living life at breakneck speeds.

They push themselves and their mounts to the excesses of endurance and even beyond, for Outriders rarely leave the saddles of their iron mounts except to effect repairs.

Each rides an Iron Steed, forged from metal but infused with the daemonic, giving each bike a sentience of it's own whose own thirst for blood can be as inquenchable as that of their riders. Although the secrets of their construction have long since passed into myth outside the foundaries of Iysudann, new Iron Steeds are created only a yearly basis and the numbers of these rare machines are strictly controlled by Gemiel herself, for reasons unknown.

In battle, Outriders form a cadre of hard hitting vanguard units, who are as at home hitting the enemy head-on as they are harassing the flanks of the enemy army. They also forefill a scouting role, probing for weakenesses in the enemies army long before the main attack arrives days later.

Unique Wargear:

Iron Steeds: The Iron steeds rode by the Outriders are part machine, part daemon and bear a sentience of their own.

When Slaaneshi Outriders charge, they may do so up to 12". If moving through Difficult Terrain, they double the distance rolled on the dice.
